The second and third presidents - John Adams and Thomas Jefferson - both died on July 4th, 1826, exactly 50 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

They had become bitter rivals during the course of events but later letter exchanges had patched things up. Netflixed PBS's Thomas Jefferson, was a pretty good view.
