The guys who draw the cartoons at The Economist are pretty brutal when it comes to depicting both George Bush and Tony Blair. This week's offering is a good case in point.
The dog metaphor seems to have found new traction as the "Bush's Poodle" label, applied to Tony Blair in recent years, must be getting old by now.

There's a long, proud tradition of European cartoons ridiculing Republican presidents and the lies behind their poorly run, bloodthirsty wars that destroyed the ideals of the founders, had no international support, gave more international legitimacy to their opponents, threatened to bankrupt the country, and were certain to end in defeat, leaving the country they tried to hold together broken forever.
