This is all very confusing
Monday, July 30, 2007
Well, Blogger/Google (whichever it is) has/have been hot on the case of the missing blog - there were at least a few links back to the Greenspan, shut up! Google, fix my blog! post over the weekend, though it's hard to imagine that this had anything to do with the recent attention from the very polite, but very late support crew.
Shortly after I deleted the old blog and started expressing my displeasure - see Bad Macro Re-Emerges, Now they respond, and See TMTGM for the time being - the forlorn badmacro blog was re-animated as badmacro2.blogspot.com.
No, they didn't update the artwork, that's my handiwork.

UPDATE: July 30th, 2:35 PM
For the foreseeable future, all new material will be appearing here, rather than at either of the other blogs.
My apologies for any confusion or inconvenience the last few weeks have caused.

It seems Google is too busy trying to mine the data of hundreds of millions of people - in such ways as Google, DoubleClick, etc. And then let's not forget their friendly relationship with China, assisting them in quashing free speech - to waste their time dealing with an individual blogger.
Tim,
I never liked the name 'badmacro' to begin with. It has obviously negatively connotations. Perhaps this is fate speaking to you that you should go back to the old blog, or pick a new, new name. I can't keep changing the feed in my aggregator, and many others won't bother update it!
Either way, thanks for the interesting posts and keep 'em coming.
Yeah, the flack is coming in pretty heavy on the name change right about now.
I'm about to delete both badmacro and badmacro2 on blogspot and try to pretend they never existed.
They deleted my blog last year and it took nearly a week to get it back. At least you can come back here
Google is teh suck. Even the searches are getting bad, and it's hard to find good info with all the damned ad pages.
Fooey on 'em.
for such a 'wonder' company i can never get their free beta software to work. picassa freezes and th egoogle bar eventual robs so much ram it locks up. google earth started acting squire-ly also. google ads are such a bogus joke. disguising ads as a navigational menu really shows how professional the company is.....some sites are impossible to read since they added google ads.
I'm glad you're going back to the old name Tim. You're still a "Blog of the Week" no matter what you call thing thing you do, but this name stands out.
