Disinvite Mozilo

It looks like "The Orange One" may get something less than a warm reception when he goes to talk about real estate and mortgage lending in San Diego later this month.
Bonnie Russell has taken up the task of organizing something of a protest directed at the Univesity of San Diego, an organization that has seen fit to invite the Countrywide chief to deliver the keynote address as part of real estate conference that also features a panel on sustainable real estate development.

Elsewhere in San Diego, Rich Toscano at Piggington.com has updated some of this charts on local home prices to reflect the reality on the ground as Angelo comes to town.
If the "disinvite" effort is unsuccessful, someone ought to create a big chart with San Diego home prices and the Countrywide share price alongside of Tangelo's cumulative stock sales and display it prominently as part of a warm Southern California greeting.
Here's some data to get things started:

"Bank of America whose $2 billion investment in the ailing mortgage lender may not turn out to be very sustainable": it was a very odd investment to make, wasn't it?
