What's up with Oklamhoma? It's bucking the national trend.
One idea about OK - my good buddy left Pgh PA to work for an oil services company there (schlumberger)...
Hi, there is a possible answer to the first poster's question about why Oklahoma is bucking the national trend.
It's Oklahoma's big kabosh on the illegals -- as written about [on April 22] by Tom Blumer at NewsBusters.org.
Oklahoma passed a law like Arizona's... back in May 2007.
And they didn't get boycotted either because OK is so benighted and backward - nobody ever pays attention to what they do in OK do they?
As an experiment, let's pass similar laws in all states and see what happens to the unemployment rate. I'll bet in most cases the results will be similar.
