Every time Bush says "act now" or "urgent" - he sounds more and more like a used car salesman.
I'll bet we're going to get the special undercoating with this deal!!
Instead of spending 700 billion dollars to bail out the banks that have been taking advantage of the American taxpayer for years, we need a FEDERAL SOLAR PANEL PROGRAM.
Go ahead and spend 700 billion if you like. The advantages of this program would be obvious but here you go:
1. Creates jobs
2. Reduces energy needs
3. Reduces dependence on foreigh oil
4. Encourages investment
5. Reduces carbon footprint
Give this plan some thought and if it makes sense, pass it on.

Quite simply, the bail-out money is needed so foreign investors do NOT pull their money out of the US.
If and when they do, because eventually they will, they just want as much as they can get.
The rest of this show is just a parlor game.
