See you in San Francisco?

Friday, November 21, 2008

If today's move in gold and silver prices continues, it may not be such a gloomy affair next week after all at the San Francisco Hard Assets Investment Conference where I'll have the honor of speaking once again.

Though in some cases they are coming off of some horrendous lows, many of the smaller mining companies that present at these conferences are posting gains of 20-30 percent or more today after the recent strength in the metals.
IMAGEAs noted here before, I'll be speaking on Sunday afternoon in an individual presentation and then again on Monday morning as part of a panel discussion. Also scheduled to appear are James Dines, Rick Rule, Peter Schiff, Jay Taylor, Dennis Gartman, and many more.

If you haven't been to an event like this before, it's a great opportunity to hear lots of great speakers and registration is free.

Sorry I'll have to miss it due to a last minute commitment. Say hi to Carl Pescio of Allied Nevada for me. He's an excellent gold prospector.

Anthony - it was nice meeting you at the Vegas conference - I'll look up Carl while I'm there.
