Cities with most underwater mortgages

Thursday, May 21, 2009

There's a neat slideshow up at CNBC about the top 14 (why 14?) U.S. cities with the most underwater mortgages. It should come as no surprise that Las Vegas is number one.

I don't understand why they lump Riverside and San Bernardino together and call them one city? They are distinctly separate cities with some actual empty space between them AND they're not even in the same county. It's not Las Vegas & Paradise which are indistinguishable. Why don't they treat them as the separate cities they are?
