Now here's something you don't see very often - the Kitco three-day gold chart with just the briefest of crossings yesterday morning at around $955 an ounce. The yellow metal appears determined to cross the $1,000 mark, now having clearly broken out of the "wedge" pattern that had contained it in recent months.
