Tanta passes away

Like many others, I'm saddened to hear that Tanta passed away yesterday after a long battle against cancer. Last night, CR posted the write-up excerpted below and this item by David Streitfeld appeared in the New York Times yesterday.
She will be sorely missed - a voice of reason with a wry style that was both informative and entertaining, there was no one else like her. My condolences.
