Hopefully, Marcy Kaptur is a name that we'll be hearing a lot more in the months ahead as the Democrat from Ohio did a fine job of grilling Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke last week.

Oh yeah - I remember that. I'm apparently a little late to her new cult following...
I wouldn't jump on that bandwagon. Her heart may be in the right place, but her intellect, maybe not so much.

Bandwagon temporarily exited, but that clip is from January 2008, so, clearly she's learning.
In any case, I think we'd agree that Alan Grayson is going to cause some much-deserved indigestion in future hearings.
My problem is: these political folk who are "waking up" are just a bit too late to the party and therefore, I don't really trust them to lead their own way out of a wet paper bag. These folks should have been aware and leading moons ago. I'm cynical and have lost confidence in our leadership's ability to lead. The good news is, according to most economists, capitulation such as mine signals that the recession is over.
I wish she were brighter...
